In this session, Sidney explores several different monetization strategies, and ways to realize them through PayPal’s flexible APIs. Next, he applies these strategies to the Kaltura Video player to create a Pay as You Go experience where users are prompted to make a micropayment to unlock the full video after watching a preview. He accomplishes this using PayPal’s open source HTML5 toolkit for Digital Goods.
